London or Nuremberg?

For weeks now, my dad's been teasing me about his trip to Germany... He's going on "business", but during the whole week he's planned on going, only two days of it are actually work-related. To make things especially annoying for me, his trip includes the first two days in London.

Anybody who knows me very well knows that I'm a total Anglophile... and I have been so ever since I fell in love with British literature in middle school (or maybe earlier... I always loved Paddington Bear when I was little), and since then my affection has grown considerably.

When my dad first announced his stop-over in London, I was right in the height of my newfound Doctor Who obsession. It drove me crazy for some time!! So imagine my extreme surprise and joy when my dad showed me the receipt for his plane ticket... and it included my name!!!

I have the option of staying in London for the whole week or accompanying my parents to Germany after the first couple days. I'm having such a dilemma... I've been to London before, but I'm in love with it. On the other hand, I've never been to Germany (specifically, I'd be going to Nuremberg).

I have to decide soon... What do you guys suggest?

	alexv: 04/28/2008 12:47 AM I've been to both places and loved both of them! I would recommend staying the whole week in London, because two days is barely enough to get acclimated. If you go to both places you would feel rushed in both.

	ARTsytypeGiRL: 04/28/2008 7:57 AM I thought the choice was clear, since you've been to London before, and never been to Nuremberg, this is your opportunity, while you still get to taste a bit of London. I know 2 days for London is hardly enough, the same goes to wherever you go, not just London. If you've never been to London, then making this a London only trip might have been a better choice. Either way, you are gonna have lotsa fun!! I so envy you...! Ummm... Can I come along ? =P
